Demonic friends are a bust. Kidding. They're a riot! Always having to control themselves before they set something on fire. And when they do set something on fire (like in school), the fire alarm gets pulled and water falls from the ceilings. Later, we laugh it all off and try to hide the fact that we know who started the fire.

Sometimes having a demon friend is dangerous. Considering they might be an enemy to your kind, someone might try and vanquish one of you. Yeah, that part isn't so spiffy. But the playing with fire and other elements combined (considering the other's (maybe yours) powers or affinity's for certain if not all elements). Yeah, magickal discussions and "experiments" are the highlight of you day, by far.

Playing with the dragons is even better. When they're big enough, you might even be able to ride them if they allow you to. I know for a fact that the red dragons and green dragons are two of the largest dragons. The white ones are the smallest. I, being so very lucky, have 1 red, 1 green, and 2 that are white. All of them are beautiful, no doubt; all dragons are. They're natural born pranksters, which just adds to the excitement.

"Want to see what we can screw with today?" Jon asked me.

"Absolutely." I responded and the gleam in his eye grew more bright with mischief. "See you there, slow poke!" I taunted as I changed into my true form and headed for the school. He screamed "No fair!" after me and tried to blink over to the school before anyone saw us. Jon's a younger demon, so the whole blinking thing is more difficult for him to do during school hours. But he still gets around all right.

Jon managed to blink ahead of me. I morphed back and scowled at my demon. Notice how I saw my demon? I'm very much possessive of him. He's my only magickal friend around here; the only one who gets everything.

"Who's slow now?" Jon asked. I made the water from a puddle behind Jon engulf him, leaving him trapped in a bubble. I laughed at his expense and commanded the water to fall. It ended up drenching him, which made me laugh even harder. Now it was his turn to scowl. I knew it was difficult for him to use fire when he was doused in water.

"Sorry," I said and commanded fire to come and dry him off. It worked instantly. He continued to scowl and lifted his hand. A ball of fire began to form and he readied himself to throw it in my direction. I prepared myself for the blow.

Jon threw the fireball and I quickly held my palm to the ball and caught it. Because I had an affinity for fire, this wasn't difficult. Both Jon and I were fairly new at this, but we understood how things worked. A lot of times we went and relied on our instincts. Sometimes we got ourselves into trouble. Like the time I almost morphed into a werewolf during science class because everyone was trying to ruin my day. So, I ran to the bathroom in time and waited it out. I had debated on running out of there and causing chaos in the hallway. But I decided against it.

"Sometimes it really pays off for you to be able to do that." Jon said. I knew he couldn't control his anger. Neither of us could.

"I know. But don't worry about it." I said smiling at him. We walked to the school and tried our best not to throw any water or fire at each other.

When we got inside, we went to our separate homerooms and took our seats.

I don't want to make this too long, so if I have time, I'll continue with this in several other blogs. I'm trying to cut back on length =]

#4 people

If you want to see how Luna, Alexander, and Duncan look, go here.

I don't think I made an update on Thursday like I promised I would. And since I had time on Saturday night....

I ran my hand across the railing of the balcony; feeling the cold stone beneath my finger tips. The party inside was one of the best, but it held no interest for me. I had managed to buy a dress for the occasion. Black, long, with thick straps hanging on my shoulders. It fit like a glove. My hair was tied up in a loose bun with my curls hanging down. A small silver crown was placed on my head. I looked okay, I suppose. No longer did the way I look matter to me. It was just as important to me as this party was.

I heaved a heavy sigh and turned back to face the elegant building. With my elbows resting on the railing, I watched the party inside unfold. Men and women danced and twirled around on the dance floor. They smiled and laughed as they danced. All of them paying no attention to anyone but their partner. I could hear the music swirling around in the air. I did not recognize the piece, it must have been an original composition. Never the less, it was just as beautiful as the night. I smiled weakly to the people inside. A woman with short black hair and a petite silver dress nodded to me from inside the ball room. I nodded back to her and she and her partner continued with their dance.

"It's a lovely night tonight." said someone at the other end of the balcony. I jumped as I heard them speak out. "I'm sorry, I did not mean to frighten you." he spoke again.

"It's alright. I just did not see you standing there." I amended. The man walked out of the shadow so I was able to see him. It was Duncan. I had not noted that it had sounded like him before. If I would have, I could have escaped this situation before it happened.

"Miss Luna, what a pleasure it is to see you again." he said as he made his way to my part of the balcony.

"Monsieur Duncan," I curtsied.

"No need for formalities, my dear. This is a casual event." Duncan reminded me.

"Then what is it you want, Duncan? I have no need to see you. Nor do I desire to." I replied, all manners forgotten.

"Likewise, dear. Though I do have some unfinished business to attend to." he reached out and grasped my wrists; making sure I was unable to get away. This is what I had feared would happen. Duncan would either take advantage of me, or kill me. Or even both. Standing here on a balcony was a fatal choice to have made.

"Did you think a little stunt like last times would have stopped me? Did it ever occur to you I would return?" he reached into his pocket quickly and pulled out a dagger. He raised it to my face so I was able to see its gleam in the moonlight. He released my wrists, but I knew better than to struggle. That would only make my death come faster. I would have no time.

"I knew you would return for me. Though I did not believe that you would kill me if I were to decline your request for matrimony. This is foolish. You should let me go in peace. I will never bother you again. I will move out of the country, if that is what you wish." I said as I tried to buy myself more time.

"Silly girl. If I cannot have you, then no man will!" he moved the dagger away from my face and to my neck.

"What if I did not decline? What if I were to accept your proposal?" I said.

"Then we would not have this conversation and your life would be spared. Do you accept, dear?" Duncan asked. His dark eyes gleamed just like the blade he was slowly removing from my neck.

"I believe you should do this right. Proposing is a special moment for the man and woman both." I lied. This would not be a memorable moment for me. Even so, Duncan nodded his head and slid down on one knee in front of me. He took my hands in his, careful of the dagger he still held in view.

"Luna, my love. Would you marry me?" he asked wickedly. His eyes flickered down to the weapon, a reminder of what would be my future if I were to say no.

A thought popped into my head. What if I were to contact Alexander at this very moment? Surely he was at the party and would come to my aid immediately. Our link was still strong, therefore this would not be a complicated task. Alexander, I thought. Alexander, I need you. Come out onto the balcony. Hurry!

He responded right away: Luna? I'm coming.

"Well?" Duncan asked impatiently. He let go of my hands and got his knife ready for my answer.

"I," I started. I was buying both Alexander and I time. I pretended to think for a moment, then forced tears to fall from my eyes. "I'll have to say...ye-"

"Luna!" Alexander yelled. I smiled and waited for him to come over. I did not dare move, for fear that I would be the victim of the sharp blade. "Luna." he said again as he reached us. He looked down at Duncan who was snarling at Alexander. He looked back up at me in amazement.

You know what has to happen now, do you not? he asked in my mind.

I know, and I'm sorry. I replied. He nodded and raised his hand above Duncan. For a brief second, Duncan was completely still. He did not move or blink as Alexander's magic made it's way through his body. The next second the dagger clattered to the floor and Duncan was dead. The people inside were oblivious to the happenings out on the balcony.

I leaped over Duncan's lifeless body and into Alexander; embracing him tightly. He returned my hug.

"What is the matter with you? Can you not defend yourself without my aid?" his voice was muffled as he buried his face into the side of my shoulder.

"I'm so sorry, Alexander. I did not know what else to do!" I said, releasing him. I stared up at his face, which did not show any traces of disappointment. His brown eyes stared back at me and he smiled. I smiled back.

"It's alright. As long as you're safe. You were lucky I came tonight."

"Yes, very. Why did you, exactly?" I asked suspiciously. This caught him off guard and I laughed.

"I-I guess I just wanted to see you. You know how I feel about this whole separation thing." I nodded. I didn't like it either.

"The feeling is mutual." I said. He smiled.

"Good. Then I guess you wouldn't mind if I did something," he said as he got down onto one knee and pulled a small velvet box from his jacket. I gasped as I realized what he was thinking.

"Would you marry me, Luna?" he asked. He opened the tiny box to reveal a ornate diamond ring. Tears rolled down my cheeks and I laughed out loud.

"You know that's the second proposal I've received tonight?" Alexander laughed with me and placed the ring onto my left hand. He then stood and waited for an answer. I answered him silently and he embraced me. We kissed beside Duncan's body and reentered the ball room; all the night's previous events forgotten.

We announced our engagement and everyone except for our parents cheered. They never did like the idea of the two of us getting married. That's why they had set us up with other people, like Duncan, and hoped we would forget each other. But the link we shared became stronger and unbreakable.

Last one wasn't so good, I know. But I didn't have anytime. I'll try again:

"Um, ow." I said as my brother sat on me. He didn't care, just as long as he had a place to sit. This was the problem with having brothers, they didn't care about your "bubble." And trust me, mine had popped mine so many times I wasn't able to count anymore. Skylar ignored me and continued to sit on me. It was starting to hurt. Sky was not the smallest guy in the world; he was older than me by 2 years, and weighed about twice my weight. So, as you can see, this was sort of painful.

"Sky, get off!" I pushed my brother off of me with all my strength. If he hadn't heard me, this would have been difficult. But instead, he scooted off my lap and into the seat beside me, eyes still glued tot he television. "Thanks." I mumbled.

"Whatever." he said. Don't get me wrong, Sky was a pretty cool brother. We were kind of close, but still he got on my nerves every now and then. I have two brothers. Skylar and Tyler. Tyler had gone to college last month, so that left me, Sky, Mom, and Dad in this happy home. Well, there was another person practically living in this place. Jack, Sky's best friend. Jack was Ty's friend, too. For a while at least. But since Ty's gone....that means Jack has to get another person to add to the Three Musketeers. Can you guess who that might be?

"Hey, Riley, pass the chips." Jack told me. I rolled my eyes and threw the bowl at him. Chips flew all over him. He knew I didn't like this. Just because I loved my brother, did not mean I had to like Jack. Sky and I had talked about it before. He said I could treat him however I wanted, just as long I didn't cause too much trouble. So I took every chance I could.

"Hey!" Jack stood up in front of me, blocking both mine and Sky's view. You can probably tell, Jack was not a little guy. He was bigger than Sky, buff and kind of chubby. He was major strong and could probably lift me only using one hand.

"What?" I asked innocently.

"You threw chips on me!" Obviously Jack's not the smartest guy in the world, either.

"So?" I asked.

He sat on me.

And leaned back.

It got really hard to breath, until Skylar saved me.

"Hey, man. Not cool, that's my sister you almost killed!" Sky's stronger than he looks, and it wasn't hard for him to haul Jack off me. "You okay, Riles?"

"I'm going to have bruises bigger than elephants!" I gasped. My brother laughed and helped me off the couch so I could make sure my legs still worked. "I'm surprised I'm not dead."

"Jack, I-I think you should leave." Skylar uttered the most shocking words I'd ever heard. I couldn't help but stare at him open mouthed as he ushered a complaining Jack out the door.

When Jack had left Sky turned to me.

"He likes you, you know." I didn't think my mouth could drop any farther, but it did.

"Wh-what?!" I screeched. Sky laughed without humor.

"Yeah. I don't think I can stand to have him around here if is falling for my baby sister. It's just not right. Especially because you hate him so much. I don't want either of you to get hurt. Or killed, for that matter." he said referring to my near death experience.

"I agree. I want to live a little longer than a month." the thought of Jack and me together scared me. I mean, not the kind of scary stuff that comes out at Halloween, I mean the worse-than-that everyday stuff. No ghosts, monsters, vampires, werewolves, or witches. Just a big ogre-sized guy falling in love with his best friend's little sister. Now that was scary.

"Riley, I'll hook you up with any other guy you want. Just not Jack." Sky continued.

"No worries, I don't want Jack. Although Charlie is pretty sweet." I said reminding him of the other guy that decided I was ''the one'' for him.

"And Charlie. No way will I let that happen again!" Sky laughed. He embraced me in one of those brotherly kind of hugs that I loved; because 1) they weren't mushy and 2) Sky was my favorite person in the world, my best friend until death. After that we'll sit and play checkers in the afterlife together. I loved this plan.

So, I dodged another bullet- for today at least.

I don't have long before my laptop dies, so here's something small:

"Ha ha," Kayla laughed at her friend. "Did you really think that would work?"

"Hey, I can hope can't I? This is some of my best work I'm testing on you, and all you can do is laugh!" Kyle responded. He'd been using Kayla as his guinea pig; to see if his method for getting a girl still worked. The only thing Kayla could do was laugh at him. She never took him seriously. Not when it came to this.

"I'm-ha ha- sorry! Ha ha." Kayla covered her mouth to muffle her gaffing. Was he serious?! How was it that girls thought this was good material? Kyle? A good boyfriend? This thought made Kayla laugh harder. No way would this work.

"If you won't take this seriously, then I'm leaving." Kyle said. This was starting to piss him off. His best friend, laughing at him! How was he ever supposed to get girl advice if he didn't have someone to get it from?

"I'm sorry. I-I'll try to take this seriously." Kayla righted herself and squared her shoulders. She was determined not to laugh.

"Nah, I'll just try this one out on Phoebe. You don't have to." he said. He walked off over to Phoebe and started with his plan. Kayla felt hurt. She'd always been with Kyle. People always said they'd make a good couple. She'd never believed the. But she could never get over the jealousy she felt when Kyle talked to another girl. Should she tell him the truth? Probably. But was it worth losing her best friend? Who knows, she'd never tried. It was time to out her own plan into action.

She walked over to Kyle and said her sorry for interrupting their conversation. She pulled him away while he complained. She laughed at him, trying to focus on not screwing up.

"Kyle, I want to talk to you about something." Kayla began. Kyle began to worry. He wasn't sure if this was a good kind of talk or a bad one.

"I'm listening," he tried to sound calm, but his nervousness leaked into his voice on every word.

Kayla turned her face. It was now or never, her mind was made up. "Kyle," she took a deep breath. "I love you, Kyle. I can't sand it when you go off with other girls and stuff. I can't take it!"

He was stunned. All he could think to do was one thing and one thing only. He leaned down and kissed her. She kissed him back, all of their worries evaporating.

Okay, so I had some free time today. Here's something i thought up:

"I shouldn't be here," she mumbled to herself. "This isn't right."
She walked down the quiet hallway and into the girls bathroom. Running her hand along the tiles on the walls, she took note of the blood running down her back. She'd managed to keep her jacket on during class, so no one had noticed. She figured there would be a major stain to wash out later that night.

"Jason, why did we come?" she called for him. His body faded into sight.

"I'm sorry. I didn't realize this would happen. Not like this. None of us anticipated it," he responded. "Could you pick the other bathroom next time? Just because you were alone coming in here, doesn't mean that you were going to be alone again when you actually entered."

"Well, sorry. I'm a girl and I have a girls pass," I held up my bathroom pass so that he could see.

"So, what now? They'll come looking for me if I'm not in and out fast....and if I leave blood every where."

"Let me see." Jason said as she spun around; her back to him. She shrugged off her jacket and allowed him to pull up the back of her shirt so he could see the wound. "Do you know how this looks?"

"I can't see my back, you know."

Jason sighed. "I meant have you looked at it in the mirror yet?"

"No. I just got in here." Taylor responded.

He pulled her over to the mirror so that she was able to see. Taylor gasped when she saw the bloody "X" in the center of her back. Her shirt was ruined; the green replaced by a bright red.

"This isn't good." she said as her eyes looked up at Jason's reflection.

"No, it isn't. Orion should not have been able to do this to you. Not in the middle of a class with humans in the room, at least. On the battlefield, fine. At least it happened now. He would not have done worse unless you were alone; not near humans. At least now we could easily stop the bleeding." Jason said as he slowly pulled Taylor's shirt back down; Taylor flinched when the material rubbed up against her mark.

"Can you please hurry up and get rid of it?!" Taylor cried.

"Sh!" Jason warned. But he did as he was told. He gently placed his hands on her back and concentrated on healing her. To check and see if it had healed, he lifted her shirt back up and sighed. She was okay. She was safe. For a moment, anyway.

"Thank you." Taylor managed a laugh of relief. She turned to face him again and stared up at his face. He wound his arms around her waist and quickly kissed her forehead.

"I'm just glad you're alright. I don't think we'd manage without your help." Jason said.

Taylor laughed again; this time more freely.

"If it wasn't for you, Percy, and Arron, I'd already be dead now. It's hard for a hybrid to survive in this world."

"Especially for you. Every corner you turn, Orion is waiting. We have to find a way to stop him forever. Stop him from hurting others of your kind. You're the first vampire/human I know. You've got basically the best of both worlds; good and evil. But the danger is amplified. Orion want you most, for some reason."

"I'm something else too, you know."

"Something else?"

"I have powers, remember? I'm also part witch. How else would I have survived the other attacks without help?"

"True," Jason paused as they heard footsteps coming down the hallway. "Looks like I should go." He whispered. Taylor quickly kissed him then released him, he faded from her vision once more.
The door swung open.

"Are you alright, Miss Taylor?" Ms. Jarred asked.

"Yes, Ms. Jarred. I'm sorry. I have.... my period and I had forgotten my pads. It won't happen again."

She nodded and escorted her back to the classroom, whereTaylor took her seat once more next to Simon.

Intro

Okay. This is another form of blogs. In this blog I will write any daydreams I have throughout my day. So, basically they are short stories. And since I have about 6 hours of school, I have a bunch of day dreams. Most likely I will try to add something to this blog daily but if I don't it's probably because a) my day dream was horrible or b) I forgot. You can even go to option c) I went overboard on a ship and am swimming to land. Take your pick for when I neglect to write an entry. Starting tomorrow I will begin my blog, so be prepared.

Enjoy your Monday!
